The Sarasota Ballet Presents Theatre of Dreams

The Sarasota Ballet Presents Theatre of Dreams

Theatre of Dreams, a program traditionally reserved for the last performance of The Sarasota Ballet’s season, will  kick-off the 2013-14 season for The Sarasota Ballet. Opening Oct. 25 and running until Oct. 27, Theatre of Dreams will showcase the original choreography of six Sarasota Ballet Company members: Principals Kate Honea and Logan Learned; Coryphée members Jamie Carter, Kelly Yankle and Alex Harrison; and Corps de Ballet member David Tlaiye. Each year, this unique program, held at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, gives audiences an opportunity to experience a more personal side of the Company.

Ranging from Carter’s 22-minute classical ballet that features live music composed by Louis Mander specifically for Carter’s use, to Yankle’s 6-minute contemporary pas de deux, Theatre of Dreams offers something for everyone.
