Moving Current begins a season of dance, here and beyond the bay!

Artistic Directors Shelley Bourgeois, Erin Cardinal & Cindy Hennessy will share the stage with Guest Choreographers Melissa Torres & Kristin O’Neal!
Moving Current’s 16th season continues with one of Tampa’s choreographers, Melissa Torres and the amazingly talented Kristin O’Neal (University of Florida)
“We have a lot to celebrate this fall!” Director Erin Cardinal says regarding the upcoming season for MC. Not only will Moving Current be performing in their home state in places like Naples, Lake Wales, and Bonita Springs, but also touring to Atlanta and New York!
Cardinal’s work, “The Arc between two Deaths” part of the company’s repertory was chosen out of 250 submissions for The Dance Gallery Festival in New York, October 11-13.
“Our focus is still in our community. We are here to help bring the national modern dance scene to the Bay Area and to support local dance artists. This season, we are also able to bring a little bit of Tampa to audiences beyond our own!”
