Boca Ballet Theatre Announces Honorary Chairs and Grand Prize Raffle for 22nd Annual
“A Princely Affair” Signature Luncheon and Performance

 

 

Boca Raton, FL – A Princely Affair, Boca Ballet Theatre’s annual social event and fundraiser luncheon, kicks off the 2013-2014 season of dance in a festive and fashionable way.  Each year this elegant event attracts more than 400 people to the Great Hall at the Boca Raton Resort & Club for a memorable afternoon of dining, dance and fabulous prizes. On Sunday, November 10th, the festivities will begin at noon with a mimosa social hour, followed by a delicious luncheon, spectacular dance performances, and incredible raffle prizes and silent auction items. A Princely Affair features performances by professional guest artists along with Boca Ballet Theatre dancers. Past guest artists include New York City Ballet’s Principal dancers Ashley Bouder, Daniel Ulbricht, Megan Fairchild, Wendy Whelan, and more.

Boca Ballet Theatre is pleased to announce that Kim and Stephen Lazarus will serve as the Honorary Chairs of this year’s event.  As devoted patrons of the arts, Mr. and Mrs. Lazarus have embraced Boca Ballet Theatre as an organization that they believe in.  Mrs. Lazarus expresses that they are “honored and delighted to be able to support BBT as this year’s honorary chairs of the annual Princely Affair.
We have been extremely blessed to watch our daughter Sasha grow and flourish as she pursues her dancing dreams under the guidance and care of Dan and Jane and all the other wonderful teachers at BBT.” Boca Ballet Theatre and the Princely Affair Chairperson, Carrie Gibbons, are grateful for the dedication and support of the Honorary Chairs.

This year’s grand-prize raffle features an enchanting 7 Day “Choose Your Destination Cruise” for two, sponsored by Boca Raton Travel & Cruises and Royal Caribbean International. The raffle winner can select a cruise destination with itineraries in Alaska, Bermuda, Canada, Europe, or the Caribbean – any of Royal Caribbean’s destinations. For over twenty years, Giuliano and Judy Lorenzani ofBoca Raton Travel & Cruises have sponsored the grand prize raffle.  Crystal Green, the new Director of Operations at Boca Raton Travel & Cruises, a division of LUXE Travel, is proud to partner with Royal Caribbean International to continue the tradition. “We have been honored to sponsor Boca Ballet Theatre’s Princely Affair for 22 years and look forward to helping this dynamic organization for many years to come”, she says.

Boca Ballet Theatre’s classic production of The Nutcracker, presented by Marleen & Harold* Forkas*, will follow A Princely Affair, with performances running from November 29th – December 1st, 2013 at Olympic Heights Performing Arts Theater in Boca Raton.
