WINTER PARK, FL – The Center for Contemporary Dance is now interviewing qualified candidates for the position of Studio and Program Manager.   Responsibilities for this growth-oriented opportunity include managing all daily operations and ensuring the success of all programs produced by an award-winning dance center that:
  • Maintains the highest standards in dance education with a student body of 300+ dancers of all ages and levels
  • Hosts a formal pre-professional and residency program for cultivating professional dance
  • Achieves a nonprofit mission based on increasing community accessibility to and investments in quality dance experiences

Qualified candidates must have the following:
  • 5+ years of management experience, ideally in an arts-related field
  • Strong appreciation for and understanding of dance
  • The ability to multi-task and ensure the success of simultaneous projects
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and non-verbal
  • Experience and intuition in budgeting and meeting financial goals
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt quickly to rapidly changing circumstances
  • Strong ability to see both the big picture while attending to the smallest of details
  • Positive attitude with an ambition to grow, learn and succeed in all arenas
  • Experience in nonprofit leadership a plus
The position offers a base salary, plus bonus; salary commensurate with experience and education.  Hours will include evenings and Saturdays. Prior to hiring, candidates are subject to a background screening and reference check.
